Laser Articulated Arm

A CO2 laser articulated arm is a precision optical delivery system used to transmit the laser beam generated by a CO2 gas laser source. It consists of multiple jointed mirrors inside a sealed mechanical arm, allowing highly flexible and stable laser transmission from the laser generator to the treatment site.

Working Principle:

The CO2 laser is generated by exciting a mixture of carbon dioxide gas within a laser tube to produce a high-energy infrared laser beam. This beam is then reflected and guided through a multi-jointed articulated arm system with high-reflectivity mirrors, ensuring accurate and loss-minimized delivery to the target tissue for medical or surgical use.

Industry Applications

Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics

Fractional CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

The articulated arm delivers laser energy to create controlled micro-injury zones on the skin, stimulating collagen regeneration.

It is widely used for treating:

  • Acne scars
  • Surgical scars
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Pigmentation disorders
  • Stretch marks (striae gravidarum)
Removal of Skin Lesions

Enables precise excision of moles, warts, skin tags, and other benign skin growths with minimal damage to surrounding tissue.

Eyelid Surgery & Xanthelasma Removal

Provides high-precision laser control for delicate cosmetic procedures in sensitive facial areas.

Gynecology & Urology

  • Pelvic floor rehabilitation
  • Intimate area rejuvenation treatments (often combined with specialized internal treatment probes)

ENT (Otolaryngology)

  • Minimally invasive treatment of benign lesions in the throat and laryngeal area
  • The flexible articulated arm allows precise access within narrow anatomical spaces

Dentistry / Oral Surgery

  • Gum contouring and reshaping

  • Removal of oral soft tissue lesions

  • Advantages include minimal bleeding, reduced trauma, and faster healing
